“Love is always patient and kind. It is never jealous. Love is never boastful or conceited. It is never rude or selfish. It does not take offense and is not resentful.”

“Mom, listen, I haven’t been together with Topanga for 22 years, but we have been together for 16. That’s a lot longer than most couples have been together. I mean, when we were born, you told me that we used to take walks in our strollers together around the block. When we were two, we were best friends. I mean, I knew everything about this girl. I knew her favorite color, her favorite food. Then we became six, Eric made fun of me because it wasn’t cool to have a best friend that was a girl or even know a girl. So for the next seven years I threw dirt at her. I like to call those “the lost years”. Then when I was thirteen, mom, she put me up against my locker and she kissed me. I mean, she gave me my first kiss. She taught me how to dance. She always was talking about these crazy things and I never understood a word she said. All I understood was that she was the girl I sat up every night thinking about, and when I’m with her, I feel happy to be alive. Like I can do anything. Even talk to you like this. So that’s, that’s what I think is love, mom. When I’m better because she’s here.” - Cory Matthews, Boy Meets World

I’m so jealous of my boyfriend’s sister. She has everything I wanted! She is a 4.0 student, but I know she’s dumb. You know how I know? I got one score higher on my AP English than hers. I got higher SAT scores than her. On top of that, she copies off of people’s work. She is also a kiss ass to the teachers to give her an A when she don’t do shit in class. Trust me I know, I had her in many of my classes since Intermediate. She even copies off of my work. So she ain’t smart. But still, she has a higher GPA than me & she could get accepted into ANY college including HARVARD! She is good at soccer and she got a scholarship for playing soccer. But she ain’t good. She’s only good because she can run fast. Like wtf? If karate was a sport in a high school, I would get many scholarships because I’m a legit 2nd degree black belt. I travel around the world for tournaments and training camps for Champions & she didn’t do anything that big. I bet you any much she got accepted in NHS. Bitch, if I find out you do, IMMA SLAAAP YOUR FACE!
But I’m missing the point.
My point is…. Why can’t we get things that we want and need in life? We worked so hard for it & we get nothing in the end. We just fall flat on our face. LIKE WTF??! Why do they have all the glory and we don’t? Does GOD hate us or something? HE knows we deserve it, but he doesn’t give it to us. WHY? Tell me, why can’t I get thing that I need and want that I worked so hard for?
